Handle connection changes
Define provisioning, reconnection and retry behaviour. Where required, specify local buffering and what the device should do when the internet is unavailable.
Plan updates and diagnostics
Provide useful diagnostic logs and a versioning procedure. Remote updates require compatible hardware and firmware; recovery and update checks form part of the agreed test plan.
